Kieff R. Lockwood

     Born in Carbondale, son of the late Kenneth and Alberta Schaffer Lockwood, he was a longtime member and trustee of the South Gibson United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Waymart High School and Williamsport Technical School. He was a businessman his entire life. His ventures began at Westinghouse, but he was a self-employed building contractor for many years until he retired. In his retirement years, he traveled the United States extensively with his wife and dog Tigger, visiting their many friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a mentor to many. His hobbies were many and varied, but his greatest joy was a good project. His family and friends will sadly miss him. He died with his family.

     Surviving are a daughter, Keyna Lockwood Radtke and husband, E. Joseph Radtke Jr., Middletown, Md.; two sons, Craig Kieff Lockwood, Pittston; and Eric Price Lockwood, Acre Lake; two grandchildren, Garrett and Kyle Radtke; 13 nephews and six nieces.

     He was preceded in death by a brother, K. Irwin Lockwood.

     A memorial service will be held April 23 at 11 a.m. in the South Gibson United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Barbara Doan, pastor. Cremation took place at Maple Hill at Salem Crematory, Archbald.
